College is a time of independence when students really learn what it’s like to live on their own and get to experience the pride of campus traditions. Through Auburn University’s EAGLES Program, these experiences are now available to more students. The program was created for people who have intellectual disabilities, and its resulted in a more inclusive culture across the Plains.
It’s amazing what people can accomplish when they all work together. Through Turkeys From Heaven, numerous volunteers ensure hundreds of families in and around Pike County don’t have to go without a Christmas meal.
