Smocking is a treasured Southern tradition. It’s a style of sewing pleats into fabric, and it’s something Carol Glass of Franklin County has been doing for decades. While she’s created countless one-of-a-kind pieces for her children and grandchildren, she now has another reason… or three… to smock.
Roger Owens is a working man. When he was in trucking, his CB handle was Boarhog. He and his wife, Becky, adopted that same name for their restaurant when they decided to take a chance and turn their passion for barbeque into a business.
