Show 906 – Large-Animal Vet Shortage – May

Do you remember your favorite lunchbox from elementary school days? Kids today may not appreciate the agonizing decision of picking the right design or the trendiest character, but if you do, then there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy finding a piece of personal history and nostalgia at the Lunchbox Museum in Columbus, Georgia.

Now that it’s May, we have more fresh fruit and vegetable options to choose from. Aisling Fields of Sweet Grown Alabama joins the Simply Southern crew to talk about the wonderful, in-season produce that you can find from local farms. To find local farmers near you, just search at www.SweetGrownAlabama.org.

Plus, enjoy a Sweet Grown Alabama feature all about how fresh flowers are grown!
