Show 904 – Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch

The Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch is one of four Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches in Alabama. Living at the ranch, girls learn a little about working with livestock, but the greatest lessons are about learning to live as a family.

From Samford Hall to Toomer’s Corner, the city of Auburn has no shortage of beloved landmarks. Those landmarks are made even more beautiful thanks to floral baskets that adorn all the downtown streets. Those baskets are carefully tended by members of the Auburn Beautification Council.

We all have that period in our lives where our weekends fill up with weddings of friends and family. When that happened to Taylor Sims, he realized he could create a career out of hosting weddings. Once he found the right place, it took the right loan and a lot of hard work to bring Ridge Pointe Events Venue to life. Thanks to our sponsor Alabama Farm Credit for providing this feature!

Plus, enjoy a Sweet Grown Alabama feature where you’ll learn what it takes to grow broccoli from John Aplin of Aplin Farms in Geneva County.

What can improve cornbread and make it even more Southern? Adding in pimento cheese, of course! Stacey Little of Southern Bite shares his recipe.
