You may have heard us talk about it before on this show or maybe you’ve even seen a sign along a roadway in Alabama, but what exactly is a TREASURE Forest? Lamar and Felicia Dewberry of Clay County explain more behind the Alabama TREASURE Forest Association and how its certification program helps provide Alabama with breathtakingly beautiful landscapes.

Although Mitchell Henry grew up in Montgomery County, he spent many summer days at his maternal grandparents’ farm in Lawrence County. Now, he’s in charge of Hardin Farms and his wife, Rebecca, shares stories about their farm life on social media. The Henrys were one of three finalists for the Alabama Farmers Federation’s 2021 Outstanding Young Farm Family.
