Justin Hill is no stranger to farming, but when he decided to come back to the family farm, he brought a few new residents — honeybees! He created Eastaboga Bee Co. a few years back. Now, he has hundreds of hives across three counties, and his honey is used in restaurants across the country. In fact, it’s the star of the Eastaboga Burnt Honey Cake that you’ll find on the menu at Bottega in Birmingham, owned by James Beard award-winning Executive Chef Frank Stitt.

Dream Court proves there is more than one way to serve in tennis. Offering adaptive tennis programs for people with mental or physical limitations, Dream Court is all about strengthening participants while providing lots of fun and smiles. Plus, the program offers plenty of volunteer opportunities.

Josh McCoy traded in his office chair for a tractor seat when he joined his wife’s family’s farming operation. Last year, Josh and Savannah McCoy were named finalists in the Alabama Farmers Federation‘s Outstanding Young Farm Family competition.
