To Kill a Mockingbird is an American classic written by Pulitzer-prize winner and Monroeville native Harper Lee. Every spring, her hometown pays homage Lee’s groundbreaking novel with the play of the same name, which takes place inside the historic Monroe County courthouse.

While neither one plays instruments, Barney and Phillip Grimes discovered they had a knack for building dulcimers and guitars out of their shop in Douglas, Alabama. You might think Alabama FFA members would have a goal of one day feeding the world as farmers, but during the 2019 state convention, members already fulfilled their dreams of feeding others.
