Friday brought snow to half of Alabama, but believer it not, you can still find tasty seasonal produce in the dead of winter. Aisling Walding of Sweet Grown Alabama explains what those things are and reminds us to visit www.SweetGrownAlabama.org to find local farmers near us!
As you’d expect from any Southern cook, Stacey Little has numerous biscuit recipes on his website. Here, the SouthernBite.com recipe developer shares his rendition of Cathead Biscuits, so named because they puff up to be as big as a cat’s head! They’re the perfect pairing for a hearty soup and are made even more scrumptious for breakfast when smothered in gravy. And you can find plenty of recipes for those, too, at SouthernBite.com.
